BOI promotion and OSOS: project-specific route — Review overdue

BOI promotes eligible activities under current announcements and considers the exact project, investment, technology, location, environmental requirements and conditions. Use BOI's current eligible-activities search and the activity entry applicable on the application date.

BOI's Investment Promotion Guide 2026 states a general project minimum of 1 million baht excluding land and working capital, unless the eligible-activity entry specifies otherwise; knowledge-based activities may instead use the salary-expense basis stated for that activity. This is a general criterion with express activity-specific exceptions, not a universal project threshold, eligibility decision or incentive promise. Quote or apply an amount only with the exact activity code, current announcement, application facts and BOI confirmation.

Tax and non-tax incentives vary by activity, category, location and certificate conditions. Promotion may support foreign ownership, land, machinery or raw-material duty and foreign-personnel processes only within the approved legal scope. It is not a blanket FBA, land, tax, visa, work-permit or licensing exemption.

OSOS provides investment information and coordination with agencies. It is not a single universal approval, filing or real-time-tracking system.
